Workflows

Osprey integrates with the tools you already use to communicate and resolve issues. You can configure multiple notification channels and incident escalation (ticketing) workflows for each domain.

Configuring a Workflow

Notifications (Slack, Teams, Email)

Get notified when:

  • New issues are reported

  • Manual issues are reported

Each channel supports:

  • Asset name, issue summary, and reported

  • Rich formatting with direct links to Osprey

You can set up:

  • Slack or Microsoft Teams via incoming webhooks

  • Email notifications to individuals or mailing lists

Escalation to Jira and ServiceNow

Osprey lets you automatically or manually escalate issues into your incident management systems:

  • ServiceNow: Log incidents for enterprise resolution and auditing

  • Jira: Create or link issues to your engineering backlog or data reliability sprint board

Each escalation includes:

  • Asset name, issue summary, and reported

  • Links back to Osprey for triage
