Reporting Issues

In addition to automated detection, you and your team can escalate issues manually. This is useful for:

  • Escalating an urgent issue

  • Capturing anomalies that aren't yet covered by checks

  • Sharing contextual or operational observations

  • Logging quality problems that originate outside the PI System (e.g., lab results, field notes)

You can:

  • Submit a new issue from any asset page

  • Add description or comments

When you submit an issue, Osprey will automatically:

  • Notify stakeholders via integrated workflows (Teams, ServiceNow, etc.)

Manually reported issues are shown alongside automated issues in dashboards and search.
